It’s been recently announced that brands will soon have the ability to use the ‘poll feature’ within Instagram Stories, as part of their sponsored ads.

Whilst the poll sticker is not new to Instagram users and has been with us for around two years now, it’s a new feature for sponsored posts and will provide brands with the ability to create interactive ads, whilst gaining more research into their target market.

The feature is already seeing great results. During the beta testing, Dunkin’ Donuts saw a 30% cent lower cost-per-video-view while using the polling sticker, whilst Next Games’ app installs jumped 4% after using a polling ad..

Instagram is now home to over 7 million advertisers of which 60% user the interactive features within stories (such as locations and mentions)and with 500 million people using the stories feature daily, the new addition is sure to be a huge success.
