Facebook’s New Guide On Messenger And Messaging Etiquette

Reading Time: < 1 minute

“Is my message too long? When can I follow up? Is it offensive if I leave this never-ending group chat?”

These questions have become increasingly frequent, and Facebook – which owns the two most used messaging platforms in the world – wants to support alleviating messaging angst.

Facebook has partnered with Debrett’s, a “renowned authority on modern etiquette”, to produce the first formal messaging guide of its kind.

You can download “The Art of Digital Messaging – A Guide to Communication in the Digital Age“, or check out the infographic summary of their key findings below.

Hopefully the guide will make your messaging interactions a little more civil.
